Outstanding BBQ brisket, smoked chicken, ribs, and burnt ends on call ahead order, l really like this place, good food, good management and cold beer, try some.

They would have received the five if they didn't run out of brisket chili so quickly. It only lasted for about an hour once they started to serve it.

They ask for a tip before you even see the food. Tried the pitbeef platter with 15% tip my meal cost $17.90. There was so little beef the top and bottom of the rolls were touching.

Fun little bbq place 'hidden' in Westminster. Lone Star is tucked away off Main St, facing the parking lot by the smoke stack. My wife and I stopped by for lunch and were delighted. It has a quaint but well-appointed dining room complete with Texas BBQ themed decor. The service was good. We ordered a variety of items and the chicken was our favorite. The pulled pork was also very good. I'm a tough judge of beef brisket so I would call that just fair. The bbq sauce was delicious as well as the sides. The prices are fair and they also have a nice outdoor space. Will definitely go again.

Not exactly Texas style barbecue, but definitely good enough to go again.

The prices in this place are astronomically high for a barbecue sandwich and a couple of sides. Do yourself a favor and drive on down to Smoky’s in Eldersburg Maryland on route 26. It’s half the price and just as good.

Good BBQ, friendly people, good prices.

The brisket should be removed from the menu. Extremely chewy, fatty, and overcooked. Zero seasoning, zero smoke flavor, no smoke ring, just beef fat. If you don’t know how to cook it, then don’t. Was my first and last visit to this place.

Food is great, nice location, great staff. Only downside is they close a little early.

My family was in the mood for BBQ/Pit Beef/Pulled Pork type food. Found Lone Star BBQ on on Google and decided to give it a try. So happy we did. We all loved the food and will definitely return and recommend to others. New Favorite in Westminster!!

A great hidden gem in the Westminister. The pulled pork was juicy and didn't need anything like BBQ sauce. I did try the XXX BBQ sauce and i enjoyed that too. The green beans had great flavor with nice chunks of pork in it. A nice little hometown vibe going on in the place.

Always a local BBQ favorite. Great food and service. They've added to their beer selection too. The peach alamode dessert is really good.

For too long Westminster was without good BBQ, thanks to Lone Star that is no longer the case. Decent prices for truly awesome brisket, creamy mac n cheese, or any number of other items, this is a great meal stop for families, couples, or working folks. Only critisism, not enough sauce options. There is a sweet but not a good spicy option.

The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. The brisket tasted like roast beef and the macaroni and cheese wasn't nothing special. I wish more restaurants would actually smoke their meats like Famous Dave's did cause you could taste it.

Great food, good sized portions. Friendly atmosphere.My only recommendation would be to have another barbecue sauce with some heat behind it as well as the sweet sauce

Over priced, if you know anything about barbecue you would recognize right away that it’s a bush league operation. First and last time I will ever step foot in that place the only thing they had going for them was cold beer and decent french fries that were not fresh they were rewarmed would never go there again or recommend it to my worst enemy

The customer service is consistently speedy, great atmosphere, very nice employees. Will visit here again when I arrive in town.

Delicious food and the nicest workers I've ever met!

We had been ordering from them through Door Dash, and just happened to be in downtown and decided to stop in. Upon walking in, was very impressed by the look. Very Texas and Maryland combined. Very clean and inviting. The young woman who took our order was very friendly and helpful. When our order arrived, looked delicious. Had the smoked beef sandwich, hand cut fries, and green beans. The beef was perfectly tender, the fries were great, and the green beans were phenomenal. I could just eat the green beans as a meal, they are so good! My boyfriend had the pulled pork platter and the same sides. He said the pork was cooked perfectly. All in all, GREAT restaurant and one I highly recommend!

First time here and most definitely won’t be the last! Fast, friendly and delicious! The ribs fell off of the bone and were incredibly tender. My husband had the brisket and said it was the best he had ever had, great flavor, not dry and a generous portion. We’ll definitely be back.

Unbelievable barbecue! Ribs are fantastic, baked beans are the best I have ever had. Their unique BlackBerry Habanero sauce is awesome. Sweet southern corn bread tops off anything on the menu. Nice outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Definitely worth the visit, will be back.

Great BBQ. Definitely recommend! Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. A great choice for a date night or dinner with the family. There's also outdoor seating.

Great Texas bbq brisket here in Westminster. They even have sweet potato fries, sweet tea and Shiner beer! Friendly staff and country music. Almost like being in Texas!

So I’m not sure how I did not know about this place! Amazing is an understatement. A gentleman walked into our store and we were talking a bit. Exchanged some stories and low and behold he was the owner. I saying how much I love bit beef and bbq. The owner was so nice, as a surprise he brought me lunch that Friday. I was hooked. The following week I ate there 2 times. I will be going back!! Every time I have eaten there I have had the brisket and it is melt in your mouth goodness. I am going to try pit beef next. This place in my opinion is better then any mission I’ve been to. 🇺🇸 THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. 🇺🇸

Very small portions for price , shrimp salad had good taste but not enough to cover a potato burger roll , again baked beans very good taste served in large salad dressing cups . Friendly and clean. But for the money not worth the trip.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Cool western/rodeo atmosphere. Wide selection of BBQ meats and sides. Food was delicious! Highly recommend!

My Lady and I love this place! We try our Best to eat there once a week. The pulled pork is my favorite and for the first time tonight I had the Mac & Cheese. I always choose the XXX Spicy BBQ sauce. And don't get me started on the cornbread! It's all so good and we love supporting Local! This is our spot for BBQ and while there may be others close by I choose Lonestar every time! Thanks Rob and Family for Great Food, Great Service, and an overall Great atmosphere! Looking forward to spring and summer night on the Patio! With Food and Beer to wash it all down!

I am very disappointed in my experience at lone star. It took 45 minutes, the food was expensive for the portion size, which was very small, and cold. The staff was tolerable, but not exceptionally friendly. Soda was very bubbly tho!! :))

This place is great. The need brisket is so tender. It’s like butter. Definitely coming back again. The customer services is great. Great prices. A wonderful place for the family.

First time here. I wasn't sure what to expect. Everything on the menu sounded so delicious and I couldn't choose so I asked the gentleman who waited on me. Little did I know he was the owner until he said something. (Sorry I don't remember your name) The owner was so sweet and the food was beyond amazing. I have lived across the street from this place for years and have been meaning to try it, I am glad I finally did! This is a great place to stop in for something good. The proportions are large, the people are friendly, and the food is highly recommended. Don't wait like I did!

Always great meats and fast friendly folks

There isn't a thing that I have eaten that I don't love here. All of the staff and even the owner are so friendly, helpful and on point with every thing they do. As soon as they see you need or want something thery are right there aiming to please and make your visit a spectacular one.

Great little place. The food is fantastic!

We went here like a year ago and it was good. Came back today and it was AMAZING. The meat here is so flavorful! My wife only got sweet potato fries and the first words out of her mouth were, "we need to come here more often!". Fair prices, decent beer selection, great atmosphere and excellent customer service. CAN'T GO WRONG! See you again very soon guys

Delicious Brisket quesadillas yummy Barbecue sauce

Best BBQ place in Westminster. Excellent menu options. Their mac and cheese is awesome. It can be a little hard to find if you don't know the area as it is tucked back in a nook of a shopping center. Just look for the outdoor seating.

Incredible BBQ! Their blackberry habanero BBQ sauce is so delicious on anything. Their baked beans have huge chunks of meat in them. The owner is super nice. Definitely would recommend eating here. I will be back.
